Welcome to my little corner of the Internet!  I figured I should probably let you know a little bit about me! For that reason, I have come up with some iFAQs, that is, imaginary Frequently Asked Questions. Enjoy!

Who are you and what is this blog about?

Well, that's two questions, but I digress.  I'm just a Catholic 20-something wife, married since 2011 to the most awesome Husband (aka the Hubs) on the planet (I'm not biased at all).  If you want to hear more about our story, I've written some posts about it here.

I blog over here in my spare time about whatever comes to mind.  Right now,  that's a lot of things related to my faith and to  PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) and the infertility and weight struggles that come with it.  If you want to know more about that, check out the infertility journey and weight journey pages. Who knows if my focus will change in the future, considering that I have the attention span of a ... oo, shiny thing!

Why do you go by Tomato?

Tomato is a play off of my and the Hubs's last name.  Everybody joked that I was going to become Mrs. Tomato when we got married. It's grown on me, so I decided to use it here. Also, I wanted to stay anonymous on this blog as I discuss a lot of very personal, very sensitive things that I don't necessarily want to come up if someone googles my name.

Why name the blog Tomato's Vine?

Because that's where the Tomato hangs out, on the vine, get it?  Ok, well  I'm laughing at it. 

What are your qualifications to blog on all of this?

Absolutely none (Other than a lifetime of being Catholic and experiencing infertility for going on four years).  I have no degree in theology or any sort of religious studies (though the Hubs does!).  Similarly, I have no degree in English, Science, Nutrition, or Medicine.  My degrees, in economics and law, have really nothing to do with what I'll write about here.  So feel free to take everything I say with a grain of salt and do your own research.

Who are those two scruffy looking critters you post about from time to time?

We might be are crazy dog people, and are lucky to have two sweet pups.  Christi (the grey one) is a miniature schnauzer that was a very unexpected gift from my parents in the summer of 2012.  She enjoys being lazy, watching tv, getting belly rubs, and howling. Jack Jack (the black one) is some sort of Chihuahua/ Poodle/ Terrier/ Dachshund/ who knows? mix that we adopted in the spring of 2014.  He enjoys endless hours of playing fetch, waking everyone up just so he can go back to sleep in a different spot, and chewing everything he can, especially cords that are plugged in (4 computer cords and 2 lamp cords to date).  They both share a love of napping and shredding toilet paper rolls, and a disdain for the possibly matching outfits forced upon them.
