Now that two of you have suggested exercise, I should probably try to do it, haha.Tomatohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14874825476590035544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9133558552627369533.post-60398762046262439922015-05-12T12:55:59.639-07:002015-05-12T12:55:59.639-07:00You make a good point, I do need to get back to ex...You make a good point, I do need to get back to exercising. I can't promise I'll do it, but I'll try!Tomatohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14874825476590035544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9133558552627369533.post-14170982973386854972015-05-12T06:09:27.663-07:002015-05-12T06:09:27.663-07:00Way to go on your good week! Not to mention the whole start of a new cycle. I agree with Shannon, that exercise helps me a lot. I used to always cope with food, but the more active I've gotten, I find that now I often want to process things while moving. I will say, though, I still have a terrible time making the smart play with regards to carb cravings around the beginning of a cycle.Catholic Mutthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10254315970336710941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9133558552627369533.post-6411268411027516832015-05-12T05:13:02.876-07:002015-05-12T05:13:02.876-07:00Something that I've found helpful in the past ...Something that I've found helpful in the past has been to exercise, so I don't feel so down for the event. "Exercise gives you endorphins; endorphins make you happy," (Legally Blonde) actually has a LOT of truth in it. That was one of the things I discovered I liked most about running -- it made me feel good. I know someone who successfully used it to treat depression and paranoia (no meds) for a period of like two years, until it went away.

When you know you're approaching one of those trigger events, or (if you can accurately predict it) that time in your cycle, consider upping your exercise routine, just a bit, for a few days beforehand, to see if it helps during the event.Shannon Ballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02599148135589801053noreply@blogger.com
